There is a visible sign of Florida blue tide. Your family and you could be at risk. It’s not something you wish to do, but it’s frequent.

The species responsible for that red tide Karenia brevis and it is found to thrive in salty environments like those found off of the coastline of Florida. The species is commonly found in the Gulf of Mexico, as also. Basically, anywhere that has the saltwater environment where it can flourish is exactly where it will increase.

Red tide shouldn’t be avoided at any point you find it. You might find yourself in an environment where this kind of growth can cause high level of pH. You should avoid those areas with Red tides, regardless of what it appears like.
